How to play Grill Time
Get your grill ready
Open the beta and choose Start. On a phone, turn sideways to play in landscape. Tap to play on a touchscreen, or click with a mouse.
Start a burger
Tap the buns to place a bun on a board. Tap the patties to put one on the grill, then watch its cooking ring.
Catch the perfect moment
When the ring turns gold and shows a tick, tap the patty to move it onto a bun. A red ring with an exclamation mark means it is overcooking. A burnt patty marked with a cross goes to the bin when tapped.
Match the order
Check what your guest wants, add the matching toppings and tap the finished burger to serve it. Happy guests leave tips.
Keep drinks flowing
Lemonade fills automatically. Tap the jar to serve a full glass. To discard a wrong burger, tap the bin and then its board.
Earn stars and keep going
Work towards the level’s coin goal. One star unlocks the next level; aim for three stars as you practise. The current beta has five levels.

Before you play
Is Grill Time free?
Yes. The current browser beta is free to play and does not require an account or installation.
Can I play on my phone?
Open the game in your mobile browser and turn your phone sideways. Use taps to prepare and serve orders. On a computer, use your mouse. Browser and device performance can vary while the game is in beta.
Does the game save my progress?
Progress is stored locally in your browser when storage is available. Keep using the same browser and the play.michaelcookstv.com address. Clearing browser data, private browsing or changing devices can remove or separate your progress; there is no account-based cloud sync.
Can I play with friends?
This beta is single-player. Invite friends to try their own games and compare how you get on; there is no online multiplayer mode.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
App Store and Google Play releases are coming soon. For now, use the browser beta. You do not need to download an app to play.
